MENTALLY STIMULATED PAIN RELIEF Q&A

Q:   I live with chronic pain and have used a narcotic patch for relieve. My pain was decreased, but the narcotic made me sick and I was apathetic. I just wanted to lie around all day and do nothing. So, I took myself off of the patch and found out that I was "hooked" and so I went through withdrawals to get off of it. My options as far as anyone can give me are constant pain or addiction.
